Kejimkujik, Nova Scotia, the scene of dramatic sunsets and wondrous night skies! It is the only Canadian National Park, National Historic Site and Dark Sky Preserve at one location.  A place of old growth forests, biodiversity, glacier scraped rocks, and thousands of year old Mikmaq travel ways, stories and memoriess.Techniques: Hand painted and commercial fabrics with thread painting.

Kejimkujik Lake in New Brunswick is known as a place for Vision Quests in the First Nation tradition. Such visions are not always clear and easy to figure out.Techniques: machine piecing, machine quilting.

Process: Initially, I felt the design needed some drama, therefore I cut it up and inserted the vertical pieces.
